Transferring Licenses

New Customer

To transfer a license to a new, unregistered customer:

  1. Find the License you would like to transfer.
  2. On the License Details page, click the License dropdown and choose Transfer.
  3. A message box will pop up asking you for a password. This password will be assigned as the Customer Password of the new unregistered customer.
  4. Once you enter the password, the license is transferred to a new, unregistered customer with the provided password.
  5. The license notes are updated saying where the license was transferred from.

Note that the invoice is NOT transferred. The customer that purchased the license will keep the invoice, because they are the one who paid for it. If you go the old customer, you will see an invoice without a license attached. You can always go to the View Invoice Details screen to get to the license which was transferred.

Existing Customer

To transfer a license to an existing customer:

  1. Find the customer you would like to transfer the license to. Write down their Customer ID.
  2. Find the license you would like to transfer.
  3. On the license details page, click on [Edit] at the top.
  4. In the Customer ID field, replace the existing Customer ID with the Customer ID of the customer you want to transfer the license to.
  5. Click Submit
